What is Small Groups? Small Groups is a way for everyone who come to EVPC to stay connected, to grow together, and learn more about our calling here on Earth as instructed in the Word of God.

Once submitted the Church office will review your top 3 selected small group leader choices and a confirmation notice will go out to you and your household.
English Small Groups
Based out of Hollister: Married 47 years, 4 children, 16 grandchildren & 1 new great grandson. Tammy serves as the lady’s director and lead the life and focus rehab program here at EVPC. Brian is a great leader in our church that inspire and cares for many people in the church.
Based out of Santa Cruz: Served as pastor’s wife, Christian Education Director, and Sunday School teacher for various age groups, most valuable experiences has been teaching Bible studies with individuals and groups for many years.
Based out of Gilroy: I am proud father of three beautiful children. I was born and raised in the Christian faith. I spent a lot of time working in and out of churches growing up. I have had the privilege of serving in the areas of Bible studies, youth ministries, many years in music ministry, assistant in ministry.
Based out of San Jose: Started attending EVPC since January of 2022. Was baptized in Jesus name in February. Currently part of the Young Adults Leadership Staff and teaching bible studies to young adults 18-30 years old.
Based out of Hollister: Have been married since 1976. They have 3 grown children and run several businesses together. They have been serving God since 1981. Since that time they have been involved in local ministries as well as served and supported ministries in Portugal and Cuba.
Based out of Central San Jose: They have been serving our Lord Jesus since the 1990’s and have been happily married for 20 of those years. We met while participating in EVPC Singles Ministry activities. We quickly learned that we shared many things in common including teaching, prayer and choir ministries.
Based out of East Side San Jose: Blessed with 2 children and a large extended family. they both love EVPC dearly and have been attending since 2017. They are both engineers at PayPal. Sis. Padma started and still leads the first faith-based bible study at PayPal.
Based out of Gilroy: We have been attending East Valley Pentecostal church for over 30 years. We have taught hundreds of bible studies over the years and have served in many leadership capacities of EVPC.
Based out of East San Jose: Erin is Pastor Nate’s wife and has served in almost every area of the church. Sis. Jennifer Torino has served the Lord since coming to EVPC in 1987 and has taught hundreds of bible studies over the years. They both have a heart for souls.
Based out of South San Jose: They have been part of EVPC for over 38 years. During their time here, they have been Sunday School Teachers, Small Group Leaders, Choir members, Praise Team Members, and Worship Leaders. In addition sis. Helen was the Church Secretary, as well as an EVCS teacher for over 10 years.
Based out of San Jose: Sisters who were born and raise within a christian household. Full committed since the year 2013 and both currently service in ministries such as Guest Relations, Praise Team, and the Young Adults Staff.
Based out of East San Jose Has been faithful to EVPC since 1969. He loves the Lord and has a passion for souls. Has taught many bible studies and has served faithfully.
Based out of Gilroy:
Blessed with three children and a large, extended family. Alex and Christine love sharing the word of God and are passionate about serving others. Christine is a leader in the Sunday School ministry and serves in the Ladies ministry. Alex serves as an Usher, encourages and leads others, and makes building relationships a priority.
Based out of East San Jose: Have attended EVPC 30 years. I began attending in 1990 and my wife began in 1999. We have two daughters, Julianna and Lily. We have given Bible studies, led care groups and growth groups, taught Next steps, worked with the community as Santa Clara County Volunteer Chaplin and ministered in various other ministries.
Based out of Gilroy: Has attended and helped the ministry team here at EVPC for 27 years. We are living testimonies of how our Lord Jesus Christ saved and changed us. We continue to teach people bible studies and brining people to church.
Based out of Morgan Hill: In the thirty-three years of being active members of East Valley, we have been involved in multiple ministries. Currently in the past seven years we serve as Married Ministry Directors. They have taught many of bible studies at EVPC.
Based East San Jose: Jessica been attending EVPC since September 2011. She loves being involved and has been a part of the Sunday School, Children’s Ministry, Women’s, Praise Team, & College & Career ministries throughout the years.
Based out of West San Jose: They have been married since March of 2009. Have been faithful to EVPC since the day they arrived. They have served in many capacities within Sunday school and have taught many bible studies.
Based out of East San Jose: Elder Dennis and Loretta Kiefer Member of EVPC since January 1, 1990 Bible school graduates of WABC Teaching Bible studies since 1971 & Ladies Auxiliary Ministry.
GRUPOS PEQUEÑOS EN ESPANOL/SPANISH SMALL GROUP LEADERS
Based out of East San Jose: Pastor Jesus and Isabel Perez have 3 children and 8 grandchildren that serve the church. Jesus and Isabel are the Spanish congregation pastors and love the Spanish speaking people and over the last 25 years they have taught hundreds of bible studies and lead people to Christ.
Based out of East San Jose: Sis. Ana is our Spanish next steps director.That helps new members start their journey in serving God at EVPC. She has taught many bible studies over the years at EVPC.
Based out of East San Jose: Has served for around 30 years in many capacities in our Spanish congregation. They have been wonderful elders and have taught many bible studies over the many years at EVPC.
Based out of East San Jose: Sis. Tete and her husband have taught many bible studies since been part of EVPC. They are the longest lasting bible teachers in our Spanish congregation. Even through the pandemic they have never stop teaching bible studies in their home.
Based out of East San Jose: They have both served EVPC since the day they arrived. Bro Wilfredo serves as Spanish congregation lead usher. They have two great boys that serve the church faithfully. Bro. And sis. Rojas have 35 years of experience teaching bible studies in their home country of El Salvador.
Based out of South San Jose: Brother Daniel has served as our Spanish Service technician over the many years he has been at EVPC. He in his wife have a burden to serve and teach the word of God to people. They have 3 wonderful children which all serve and attend EVPC.
Based out of Sunnyvale: Have been part of EVPC since 2001. She has led taught many bible studies and continues to help lead and encourage so many people to the Lord. Dr. David is a Nasa scientist that is a great support and encouragement to his wife and to everyone that they teach about Jesus.
