THE WHAT: As we enter into the Holiday Season and welcome in the Winter weather, there is no better feeling than to be able to bundle up in the warmth of our homes with out loved ones to escape the cold, wet, California winter. For many, through out the holiday season we are welcomed with so much love and care by those closest to us.
As this reality may be for so many, there are just as many who dream of enjoying simple blessings, such as bundling up in a warm blanket at night to read the Word of God.
Though we may not be able to bless one in need with life changing money, we are however, able to make a life changing impact in their lives by gifting them the Living Word of God and possibly helping them be a little bit more comfortable this winter with a warm blanket.
THE HOW: If you or someone you know is able and interested in donating in this year’s “Bible & Blanket Donation Drive” it is very simple, all you have to do is bring an extra blanket you may have and/or Bible to the drop off location at in the church lobby either on Wednesday Night or Sunday Morning, and that is it!
If you’re wanting to help package a blanket and bible together for distribution, and/or you’d like to join the distribution team as they go out to the community and distribute the Bible & Blanket packages to those in need, sign-up below and Sis. Savannah Mills will be in contact with you.
THE WHEN: Please mark the following dates if you are wanting to donate, help prepare, and/or distribute:
Last day to Donate: Sunday, Dec. 18th
Prep Day: Wednesday, Dec. 21st @6:30pm (before midweek service)
Distribution Day: Saturday, Dec. 31st @10am
