About Our Worship

Many ask who are we?  You’ll find here that our church doors are wide open to people from all backgrounds.  We truly have a place prepared for you.  What our guest usually notice first is the large number of people who attend our weekly services with the diversity of more than 27 nationalities.  We are a warm loving people who are so excited of what God is doing in our lives that we’re sure he can do the same for you.

Our weekly mandate is to ReachUpReachIn and ReachOut.  We ReachUp together in our exciting services to worship God because he’s mighty and merciful. We ReachIn through consecration, prayer and fasting.  This allows god to perfect our spirits.  We ReachOut through accountability to God and our church.  We also ReachOut to bring the lost and the hurting world to know the love of Christ.  Together we’re striving to become the kind of church described in the bible.  A church with relevant teaching, heartfelt worship, honest friendships, and constant prayer that’s compassionate to those that are in need.

In short we’d like to have the kind of contagious Christianity that can influence and encourage our entire community.  So whether you’re a spiritual seeker just starting to ask questions about God or a committed Christian who wants to seek the roots of your faith even deeper, you can find a home here at East Valley.  You’ll find that this is a place where you really matter.

Our Beliefs

We are founded first and foremost upon the belief that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God from beginning to end, and that there are no private interpretations.  God’s word is clearly for everyone who will receive its teachings.
We believe in the Great Commission seek to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with love, mercy, and compassion. (Ephesians 4:14-16)
We believe there is only one God Deuteronomy 6:4.  He is the creator of heaven and earth, and of all living beings.  He has revealed himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), as the Son (Savior), and as the Holy Ghost (indwelling Spirit). (John 1:1-14)
We believe in water baptism by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sin.  Through baptism we identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Romans 6:3-6; Colossians 2:11-14; Acts 2:38; Acts 19:3-5).
We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues, as the Spirit gives the ability. (Acts 2:4)
We believe in the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.  He ministers to His people through tongues, interpretation of tongues, prophecy; words of knowledge and wisdom, discerning of spirits, faith, working of miracles, healing and helps (Mark 16:15-18; Acts 5:16; 2 Corinthians 12:1-11).
James 5:14-15 presents God’s plan for divine healing: “Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: and the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up.” Laying on of hands and anointing with oil usually accompany prayer for healing, in accordance with God’s Word and to focus faith. Through God’s power, Stephen, Peter (Acts 9:36-42), Paul (Acts 19:11-12), and Phillip (Acts 6:8; 8:7) performed many miracles of healing.  Acts 5:16 states, “There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits; and they were healed every one.”

What others are saying

memberApril 30, 2016

I enjoy hearing the word of God preached by anointed ministers here at EVPC.  I always leave the Church feeling better than when I arrived. I love the fellowship with my fellow believers in the Church.

I enjoy the ability to be  involved in a wide range of different ministries. EVPC provides many ministries to help your family’s needs. Overall, doctrine, the pastor and his preaching, and the friendliness and fellowship of the congregation are the most influential qualities. And most part is feeling the presence of God.  Which you can feel immediately as soon as you walk in the church.
