About Ministry

Our purpose is to create an atmosphere that facilitates authentic worship. Our desire is for everyone to experience the presence of God through praise and worship, uninhibited by life's distractions. Choir & Praise Team, We minister weekly during our Sunday Jubilee Service, as well as host and participate in annual events, such as The Key of Worship, The Messiah drama, and our annual Christmas concert. Connecting to the community is also important to us, and we enjoy singing at local community events, such as Evergreen in the Park, and church functions abroad.  We also meet weekly to rehearse, and our practices often overflow into a vibrant atmosphere of praise. Age minimum: 15 years. Musicians help set the tempo of every service by giving the backdrop to every song that is sung at EVPC. It is a unique honor and a privilege to use the gifts that God has given to help others experience the awesome presence of God. Lighting/Sound/Media, the purpose of the Lighting Department is to supply the proper lighting for all services held within EVPC. Though unseen, this ministry will literally light the way for all events held under the church facility. This is an ever-growing part of the Technical Department and will prove to be a vital asset to this organization. Broadcasting & Recording, EVPC Studios is helping to share the gospel throughout the world by offering quality representations of our dynamic church services, worship service, and musical recordings that can be shared and distributed to saint and guest alike. The use of video and presentation media in the church sanctuary allows the EVPC music leaders and pastoral staff to connect with the congregation on a higher level. Many people consider themselves visual learners, even more then verbal. Another application point is as a supplement to those who use sign language to translate the singing and sermon for the hearing impaired. It also exists to extend our message beyond the church walls by producing media resources of live services, including DVD’s and CD’s. It is our belief that this ministry is becoming an indispensable part of the EVPC experience.
